Mass & Lot Clearing — Work Examples

These aerial and ground-level photos show large cleared areas, wooded lots, timber handling, equipment, and site access. They help illustrate the scale of clearing work and the space required to move equipment and manage material.

Defining the Clearing Scope

Clearing acreage is only one part of a bid. Tree density and size, access, ground conditions, stump requirements, debris handling, and the finished condition all affect the work. JDP reviews those items with the clearing limits and construction sequence so the proposal describes what will be removed, what will remain, and where material will go.

Clearing, grubbing, stump excavation, chipping or grinding, hauling, and grading are separate scope items unless the accepted proposal combines them. Keeping those responsibilities clear helps the project team plan the handoff to earthwork, utilities, and other trades.
