Clearing plans start with access, vegetation, terrain and the condition required for the next trade. Identify the limits of disturbance, trees to remain, stump treatment, timber handling and debris destination before pricing. A wooded lot, an overgrown access route and a larger commercial tract can require different equipment and sequences. The galleries below show examples to help you describe the clearing package you need. Acreage alone does not define the complete scope.

Review excavation and grading examples alongside the civil plans, proposed elevations, drainage requirements and access restrictions. Define cut and fill limits, haul routes, backfill, stabilization and the required handoff condition. For trenching and drainage, identify existing utilities and who supplies pipe, structures, bedding and other permanent materials. Erosion and sediment controls must follow the approved project plans and assigned responsibilities. These examples help frame that discussion; they do not replace engineering, quantities or a site-specific scope.
