Selected Virginia Clearing & Sitework Projects

This collection shows selected JDP Clearing & Excavation LLC work across Virginia, including commercial land clearing and grubbing, right-of-way clearing, timber handling, on-site chipping and grinding, excavation, rough grading, and construction-oriented site preparation. The photographs are field examples of JDP’s capabilities and equipment in real working conditions. They are not a substitute for project-specific drawings or a written proposal, because every site has different limits, access, environmental requirements, debris-disposition rules, and finished-condition requirements.

Planning Field Production

On clearing work, production planning can include tree density, stump and root handling, log movement, chip or debris handling, haul access, wet or steep ground, adjacent improvements, and the sequence required before excavation or grading can begin. On excavation and grading work, JDP considers cut-and-fill limits, material handling, equipment access, haul routes, rough-grade requirements, drainage conditions, and the needs of follow-on trades. Erosion and sediment-control measures are coordinated with the responsible project team when they are included in JDP’s accepted scope.

JDP generally provides labor, equipment, supervision, and field production for the work carried in its proposal. Permanent incorporated materials such as pipe, structures, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and stone are normally furnished by the general contractor or owner unless the written proposal states otherwise. Traffic control, surveying, design, permitting, and other specialty responsibilities are handled only when specifically included.

Request a Project Proposal

JDP primarily serves Richmond and Central Virginia and evaluates select commercial, municipal, industrial, agricultural, rural, right-of-way, and multi-phase projects elsewhere in the Commonwealth. Project teams can send current plans, scope, location, schedule, and bid deadline for a project-specific review.
